I like it. He will call 7x and smaller pocket pairs but that's not really that much. Giving him a chance to bluff is a good option.

mh that´s ugly- the 9 is a bad card for you because it improved a lot of straight draws. i think c/c the river is fine because you give him the chance to bluff a busted flushdraw. first i thought about value betting but with the 6 pairing on the turn there are only the 7x hands you can bet against. furthermore you make yourself vulnerable to a bluffraise
