VS an unknown player here. I'm often beat here but I find it difficult to lay such a hand down against an unknown player. What are your thoughts on this situation?

$0.5/$1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:s, A:h.
5 folds, Hero raises, BU folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 7:c, 6:h, 4:s (3 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB 3-Bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.5 BB) T:c (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.5 BB) 5:d (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.5 BB.

Giving up will be terrible mistake. You are still beating 88+! I would cap flop and probably raise turn.

Hi!

I can actually see players I would play this hands so passively(they need to be really non bluffing passive fish) and would even consider giving up on the river

But your oponent is unknown and most probably bad(by his preflop coldcall) so you should still be well ahead of his flop 3bet.I see him donk/3betting any 7x,5x,some overpairs and ofcourse, straits and sets.

Easiest way to play this hand would be to cap flop and cd to turn donk. Another way would be to call his flop 3bet and raise turn again(as you are IP) but you find yourself in uncomfortable situation when he 3bets you.

I'm not sure if you've read the action here correctly.

SB donk/folded to my raise.
BB called SB/3bet my raise.

Hi!

Sry my bad:)
Without any reads/stats its very hard to judge here and actually cant blame you for just calling down since his call/3bet looks pretty strong. But still I would cap and lead the turn, he will often do this with SD or just TP. If he donks turn just calldown and take a note
