I am not sure what line I should take on the river. I don't think much of his range beats me. Villain is a very big fish.

$0.10/$0.25 No Limit Holdem
6 Players

Stacks:
UTG ($25)
Hero ($35.13)
CO ($25)
BTN ($44.90)
SB ($29.64)
BB ($16.53)

Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 A♥ J♣
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, BTN calls $1, 2 folds

Flop: 4♥ J♠ A♣ ($2.35, 2 players)
Hero bets $1.75, BTN calls $1.75

Turn: 5♥ ($5.85, 2 players)
Hero bets $4.75, BTN calls $4.75

River: 2♦ ($15.35, 2 players)

I'd C/R river his aggression is increasing towards river. Not really an aggro donk (AF:2) but I think if you push, you're going to get called by a straight. If check raise he may bet his Ax hands so you can get max value with a C/R.

Hello,

Against such opponents you can try to Check/Raise on turn, otherwise it ain't wrong to take the Bet/Bet/Bet line but I think sometimes the shove directly on river works but you must have at least some kind of read on him that he is capable of calling with Ax hand there. So you must ask yourself with what kind of move you are getting better value, I would more often consider just betting like $12 and likely try to get his money later, he seems to be very loose.

Best regards,
