Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K♦, K♥.
UTG calls t100, 1 fold, Hero raises to t400, 4 folds, BB calls t300, UTG calls t300.

Flop: (t1250) 7♥, A♥, 8♦ (3 players)
BB bets t200, UTG folds, Hero calls t200.

Turn: (t1650) A♣ (2 players)
BB bets t500, Hero raises to t1080, BB folds.

Final Pot: t3230

I think the call on the flop is debatable but doable, maybe it would be a clear fold for 500+chips. On the turn the chances of him having an ace is lower, and i don't like just calling because i will remain with 500 chips - i'm more or less pot commited.

Since i can't remember my opponent, should this hand be played differently against a TAG vs LAG vs maniac? Against a tight-weak opponent i would fold the flop.

If its a LAG or someone who bluffs alot i think you played it right. Against a TAG i probably would have folded on the turn. I think you played it pretty well, although i probably would not have reraised the turn unless i had a really good read on him and thought he was bluffing.

Folding on the flop is not an option imo and neither is calling the 500 on the turn.

this is truly a sick hand.

your effective stack sucks and the board sucks everything sucks!

i like the flop call getting 7:1 vs any opponent.

and your turn line is fine. the A means its less likely he has the A and i would just hate folding KK here getting these odds.

its a really gross hand and not a spot you will have very often.

i think you played it well and i would probably play it the same vs any opponent. someone who bets 200 into a 1200 chip pot on the flop isnt a good player so you cant read too much into it in the long run.
