Did I play this right? The latest frustrating hand which ruined a session where I was making money, but just one table wipes all your profit.

Sorry, I'll figure out soon how to use the capture software, for now I'll write the hand down :

Hero MP2 $5.21 BB $1.80
Hero calls with 98s from MP2, everyone else folds.
Flop 9-8-2
BB raises $0.12 Hero calls
Turn 4
BB shoves all in Hero calls
River K

BB shows K9 for better two pair, wins $3.61

This guy was really loose, I expected a pair at best, so I had the right read. Did I play this right, or should I have avoided this situation?

Hi,

I'd probably still raise that preflop if i'm going to play it, especially if BB is bad and i want to play pots with him. Don't mind limping all that much depending on how short BB is since you didn't specify the blinds.

As played raise the flop and go broke against a very loose player unless you're positive he's bluffing there often, in which case letting him continue is fine. Of course we're never folding at any point, so calling off the turn is standard.

Hope it helps.
