I've been stuck at $45 for a year now.
My friends wont sign up as they feel the ID check could be a scam and aren't comfortable with it. I can't advertise on youtube too easily as it has hard competition.
What can I do?

I don't think it's too difficult to get one more sign-up. You can go to some forums and spread your TAF link (make sure you don't act against the forums' rules).
