Hi,
i know it would have been better to raise preflop, not just playing for set value...however, i feared the big stack guy w/ 4 BI behind me that's why i felt safer to fold on the flop. how would u have played this hand?

$0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$4.00:///////;UTG1$4.48:///////;UTG2$1.96:///////;MP1$5.00:///////;MP2$9.04:///////;MP3$4.93:///////;CO (Hero)$5.19:///////;BU$19.32:///////;SB$3.50:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is CO with T:c, T:h.
UTG1 calls $0.05, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.05, BU raises to $0.10, SB folds, BB calls $0.05, UTG1 calls $0.05, Hero calls $0.05.

Flop: ($0.42) 2:c, 5:h, 8:c (4 players)
BB checks, UTG1 bets $0.10, Hero folds, BU raises to $0.30, BB folds, UTG1 calls $0.20.

Turn: ($1.02) 9:h (2 players)
UTG1 bets $0.05, BU raises to $0.35, UTG1 folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $1.07.

Hey!

Why do you fear the deep stack behind you? You're not deep with him, so his effective stack when playing you is 100bb anyway ;)

DEFINITELY raise pre. This hand is super uber strong. Don't limp that ever again

As played: Definitely raise flop. You have an overpair and that's the kind of hand you can't fold when the pot is still 10bb big! You have the best hand a ton here! Just pot raise it. You'll still get called by 8x, fd, str8 draws, maybe even 5x depending on how bad the players are.

Remember: value bet, value bet, value bet!!

Cheers!
