You're a bronze member, so you should be playing SSS on NL HoldEm, but those hands you posted don't seem like that, at least most of them. (Took only a brief peek at them)
With such a low bankroll there is nothing better you can do besides sticking strictly to the strategies written in PokerStrategy articles.

True, sometimes it seems like a bad thing to do, but trust me, it's the best thing you can do. The strategy doesn't guarantee that everyone will call to your raises, nor that you will all the time you're all'in, but in the long run, it should give you the advantages you need to build up a big bankroll.

I do suggest you to have a another look at the SSS articles, and try to stick to the rules. If you do fold a trash hand and the flop would have made that hand a monster, then there is nothing you had done wrong. On the other hand if you had limped/raised with the trash hand you would have made a big mistake. Such mistakes usually cost you your whole bankroll.

You really should reread the aritcles because playing without a strategy you are just a fish.

Don't care about flops if you made a correct fold preflop. Just a drastic example: You fold 72o EVERYTIME preflop and then you see 777 on the flop. You should smile and go on. If you start playing 72o then you make a bad mistake.

2) Raise more preflop. At least 50 cent.Don't minraise the flop. Make it 1$ more!

3) I call this perflop.

4) Have you read the preflop article? 4 times the BB + 1BB * player in = 24 cent raise preflop.

5) Ok.

6) Fold on the turn.

7) 16 cent preflop. No idea about the flop. (I'm a FL player.)

8) No idea.

9) You are on tilt here? Leave the tables and take a break.

10) You can call the flop in my opinion.

11) See 9.

12) Good!

13) Again a minraise on the flop. I'm sure that this is wrong but let's wait what the NL players say.

When I commented post about your strategy I forgot that u need to have silver status to read Big Stack Strategy article. I would also recommend u playing SSStrategy. After a while u will get 100$ bonus and u will be able to play Big Stack Strategy (and experiment with it) without the risk of getting broke. Having more than 100$ makes your bankroll less vulnerable to swings, also gives u more mental comfort which is important while playing coz u have to be ready to risk your hole stack if the situation justify this move.

Sorry, that I say it so clearly, but that is exactly what I recommend you to do. Obviously you didn't understand anything which is written in our articles. You have made your own strategy which won't work.
If you really want to play poker and win money by doing it, you should stick strictly to the rules of our short stack strategy articles! So stop playing poker, reread the articles and listen to our live coachings. After you have understood your mistakes you can start playing again.

9) was just a bad beat. I had 2 queens before the flop so I went all in. The other guy got the only flop that his cards needed to win. I was a 80% favorite to win against his 98s. I had 0.01$ left after my all-in, so might has well go all-in again with 0.01$ after the flop...

It seems that I play A-high kicker bad too, Im scared to lose with them so I always call with them instead of raising big times.

Now that I can speak about that, here's what I don't like about the SSS:
Those 2 quotes are in the Shortstack strategy: flopplay article...

Sorry, what? I move all-in with a flush or an OESD? ok...
The OESD I can understand, after all if I only play things like Ace-high kicker, high pairs and so on, then Im probably drawing to the nut straight...
Still, I have about 8 outs with an OESD right? I guess since I probably has ace-high kicker again, Im also trying to get a top pair as well as a strtaight, which give me 11 outs.

With 8 outs on the flop, I have odds of about 2.18:1 to complete the draw, and you want me to move all-in with those kind of odds even if the pot odds doesn't justify it, with 2 cards to come?

With 11 outs, if I include oesd + pair, then my odds are about 1.40:1 to either complete the draw or get the top pair, then its good enough to go all-in with any pot odds...

With the flush draw, I have about 9 outs, and since I only play the cards in the SHC again, it's going to be the nut flush draw. Which give me 9 outs, or a 1.86:1 odds to get the flush.

2) Thats the part I have the biggest problem with:

Yeah... right... so if an opponent read me and I am very predictable by playing the SSS, hes going to know that I always bluff with trash hands when he's heads-up against me and the pot is 1.5 times my stack...?

The robotic short stack strategy described in the basic articles is indeed exploitable. You'll win with it anyway, your opponents will not exploit you correctly.

If everyone played maximally exploitive poker with full knowledge of your strategy at all times winning would be impossible. In reality, you'd have to tell them your strategy, they'd have to trust that you're telling the truth, they'd have to be intelligent enough to know precisely how to exploit it, and they would have to be willing to do so. All of the above will not apply.

Play SSS. You're out of your depth currently and getting too emotional on top of that.

I can absolutely recommend quitting poker if you lose the $50 roll, that way you've lost nothing.

You have some serious problems with your preflop game and with proper raises after the flop. Since your roll is too small for BSS and since you cant read the articles anyway , i also recommend that you play the SSS. Some aspects of the SSS might seem weird to you , but you are only a beginner and the guide is written by people who know poker and who also make profit if you become a succesful player. It would be better if you dont criticize it and just follow it for now , until you become a better player , at which point you will be able to adjust it more to your liking.

About draws : Usually you play high cards , so you will most of the time have a draw + overcards. Thats enough outs , plus you have already invested at least 1/5th of your stack preflop (usually more). You also have some Fold equity because you are the preflop raiser. So its ok to play your draw aggresively.

The 2nd part is all about being pot commited. Again you have some fold equity and some outs , you might also be ahead (opponents dont always hit either) and finally , if pot is 2x your remaining stack that means you have to win in 1 out of 4 cases.

Dont worry about opponents reading you on NL10. Besides there will be a lot of times where you push on the flop with a legitimate hand as well.

First off, glad to see you've only lost $6 out of your $50 bankroll. That is normal variance, and shows you've been employing proper bankroll management. Something not everyone here is capable of.

The purpose of this is to keep yourself not predictable. Your opponent cannot be sure whether you have a made hand (since you don't only play drawing hands) or a strong draw.

For example, you're holding A :spade:A and the flop comes 3 :heart:5 :club:9 :club:, you push all-in. Should your opponent call or fold?

You're right, the outs don't justify going all-in. However, you gain folding equity. Because your opponent can't know for sure whether you're drawing or not, he/she may fold.

Not every player is familiar with SSS, nor are a lot of players smart. In fact if every player was so smart, it doesn't matter what strategy you use, in the long run you'll likely lose to the rake.

Besides, SSS is not as bad as it seems. If it's so easily predictable/exploitable, why aren't you getting rich by exploiting SSS players?

Just wanted to reassure everyone and tell you that I decided I was a fish, and I decided to 'stfu and read the strategy and actually use them'.

Since I did I doubled my bankroll on poker* + 8 FPPs, and I amassed 40 party points on partypoker while oscillating between 42$ and 46$, Im at 49$, and soon Ill hit the profit mark.
I play a bit differently when Im the small blind though, because I want to use a part of my bankroll to practice my poker judgement. So, Ill go and see the flop for .5BB when Im the small blind with hands such as A-rags, suited connectors, small pairs, etc.

I won a 2$ pot with T7s, when the flop was JTK rainbow, and another K came, and even thought I technically had the third two pairs hand, the way my opponent was playing I knew he had nothing, and I was right (he had A9o). Yeah, it was stupid because he had a straight draw, but on the turn I just knew that he didn't hit. Since I was placing him on "ace-rags" I did bet the pot, on the river the card didnt help anyone... and my instinct paid off...

Since I stopped playing on Nl4, my bankroll has been oscillating much less.

I also started taking notes on every player I see, my goal being to be able to figure out their SHC, how they bet, and how they play post-flop. Im still at 50$ thought, and I believe the purpose of the SSS was to keep me at near 50$ while I amass enough points and enough experience for the silver status.

With the tables being saturated with shortstacks, I can finally start playing long sessions as a bigstack (which give a lot of partypoints), and getting 650 basic PPs before december 22nd now seems attainable.

haven't you posted the incorrect odds - or am I missing something?

With 8 outs on the flop, the equation for outs (as I see it) is:
= 47 remaining cards have only 8 outs
= 39 bad cards for 8 good ones
= 39:8
= 4.88:1 pot odds (and not 2.18)

With 11 outs:
= 47 cards, 11 good ones
= 36 bad : 11 good
= 36:11
= 3.27:1 (and not 1.4:1)

With 9 outs:
= 47 cards, 9 goods
= 38 bad, 9 good
= 38:9
= 4.22:1 (and not 1.86:1)

Isn't that the correct way to work out pot odds?

Was the original poster wrong, or (as is more likely) am I missing something?

I would play most of your hands totally different thats for sure. Anyway others already wrote some good explanations.

No wonder you are losing, almost all hands are played really bad. Please do not complain about losing, or getting angry (throwing you chair around). Most of these hands are your fault, some are bad beats.

The most obvoius mistake i'm seeing in your hands is betting. You don't know how to bet, when to bet and how much.

Take a careful look at the articles. Read them. And then again. And again.
