Newbie playing fixed limit... Please bear with me.
Villain trashes me after the hand was over. I actually think he played it worse than me.
Full Tilt Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Preflop: Hero is SB with A
, Q
4 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls (Standard according to the charts, right?)
Flop: (7 SB) 9
, K
, 3
(2 players) (Trash hand, I raised before the flop, at most two opponents, so I bet, correct?)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls (This is the part I think I played bad, I get raised so I should fold.)
Turn: (5.5 BB) 7
(2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks (Check/fold mode, but he checks as well! ???)
River: (5.5 BB) A
(2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks (Top pair, decent kicker, so I go into Check/call mode, but he checks again)
Total pot: $0.55 (5.5 BB) | Rake: $0.02
He started bashing me because "I kept calling with A high to the river" even though I only made a questionable call on the flop, and subsequently checked. I regularly multitable sngs, so I usually don't pay attention to the chat box. But I am new at fixed limit and am enjoying it, and want to get as good as I can. Was calling his raise that bad?
Thanks guys!
