I dont know anything about computers just wanted to know how or if i can link my comp to my big TV for when im watching TV shows or movies or whatever.

Your TV and laptop must be able to be linked.In order to do that your laptop's video card must have HDTV,DVI outpu and you need wires from some technic's shop
Take the cable you usually connect from the pc to the monitor, plug it out of the monitor and plug it into the TV.
Then depending on what OS you have go to configuration panel -> screens and find the TV and enable it.
are the cables expensive? what kinda cables are they? do you know any good places to get them cheaper? thanks
