How good are the protection bets? They do need protecting, right? :)

In hand 1 you make it 2/3 potsized at the flop and almost potsized at the turn. I'd do it the other way around. The flop has straightdraws and flushdraws so I'd bet the pot at the flop, and 2/3 of the pot on the turn.

Hand 2 I'd bet around .50 on the flop and 2/3 pot on the turn

I agree with nogatsira in hand 1 on the flop we got 2 opponents and a very scary board so I would bet high for max protection, 1/2 pot on the turn for control and value.

Hand 2 : I would bet ~0.5 on the flop and check/call the turn for pot control (few weeks ago I'd bet turn as well but now I prefer to keep the pot small with not so great AA on the scary board OOP)

That counts for both hands. Bet potsize on the flop for maximum protection and 2/3 of the pot on the turn so that they are not scared away on the one hand but still make a mistake when they are calling with their draws on the other hand.

Good luck at the tables!
