First bad beat, i know that i will probably ad beat when this guy call me, he was limping and playing like a true fish and i just wanted to double up on him.

This is NOT a bad beat. It's 65/35. Indeed he called light but you are not that clear of a favorite. I consider bad beats 4 outers at most.

As i say i will only post bad beats were i m clear favorite and lost, no HU bad beats and bad beats were i lost less than 2000 unless i get busted out.

I suggest we stop with a bad beat discussion, since wikipedia says:

In poker, bad beat is a subjective term for a hand in which a player with what appear to be strong cards nevertheless loses. It most often occurs where one player bets the clearly stronger hand and their opponent makes a poor call that eventually "hits" and wins. There is no consensus among poker players as to what exactly constitutes a bad beat and often players will disagree about whether a particular hand was a bad beat.

How can you start a bad beat thread, and then not want to discuss what constitutes a bad beat. Seems odd to me. If you think getting it in as a 2 to 1 favourite and losing is a bad beat, you'll be spending more time posting than playing! ♦

i think you need to quit moaning about these 'bad beats' its poker. And i bet you suck out many people with 3 outers sometimes its just part of poker.

Ok guys i didn't open thread to talk about bad beats, please check first topic and see whats this about.

Its about me playing almost whole day and posting bad beats in my blog. Wanted to start something so in a week or month people can come here and see if they are ready to take a pressure as a whole day poker player.

My goal is to finish in top 100 (top 10) on first 3 planets:
Buy in range: $1-$2.99 Mercury
Buy in range $3-$4.99 Mars
Buy in range $5-$9.99 Venus

Placing well on these leaderboards is just about who is the biggest luckbox in a given week, at least on the low orbits.

Finished 11th in Mars once. That week it was all about skill. Not managed it since. Some lucky bastards always beat me!
