Hi All,

First of all, perfect deal here at PokerStrategy.
I was helped within 48 hours.

I have a dilemma, I play poker for a half year now.
But I think im just a beginner, and playing wrong strategys.

I always played NL holdem, isnt it better to start with Limit Holdem?
Im now -2 dollar from the 50 dollar.

And how about coaching? how does that exactly work? Can I only ask questions? or do they look how I play?

And euh.. I readed a lot of strategys here, but I still got a bit out of luck.

Can someone help me abit out here?

With kind regards!!

Hi niekos!

Whether you play No Limit or Fixed Limit is absolutely your choice. There is no "better" variant to begin with. To give you a little advice about the differences, please have a look at this article: Fixed Limit vs. No Limit

In our coachings you can ask questions and watch our coaches while they are playing and explain their moves to you. If you want to play yourself and get advice from a coach you have to ask the coach for a so called private coaching which will cost money.

Good luck at the tables!

Puschkin81, Thanks for your quick and good reply.

I will go on at No Limit, I play 0.02/0.04 atm.
And keep myself on the SHC. And try to follow some coachings, that makes Poker Strategy also unique!

Thanks for the great support, I will bring in some friends!

With kind regards!

hey niekos,

the SHC can only be applied at Limit Hold Em,
for no limit you should play the Short Stack Strategy which is explained in the Basic articles in the No Limit section

qotsa7887, Thanks, lol I was playing No Limit with SHC also haha.

I thought that was better because off the long range of starting hands.

But about the guide:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/strategy/no-limit/216/4/

The table seems to be wrong, the questions are interupting the table.

I have added a friend already, more to come.

Are they also some movies about SSS? Because of I have a bit problems with the raise size etc. Im affraid I raise to high or to less.

With kind regards

What could be the solution?
Im using IE 6.0

If I have some trouble with displaying some pages I activate javascript. Maybe that's the problem for you too. :)

Thanx, I will try that! Hopefully it works.

Puschkin81,

Perfect, and so much thanks for the first Bronze SSS video :)
Why does he uses 4 tables at the same time?

With kind regards

Do you mean why 4 tables instead of 1 or why 4 tables instead of 12? (A good short stack doesn't play many hands so very little would happen on 1 table.)

Yeah I mean 4 instead of 1, but after looking the movie: it are more then 4 tables he played. But for the beginner that won't work I think? because of concentration and decision he needs to make?

Everyone has his own limit, and with practice the decisions become easier and some become automatic which increases the limit. Playing fewer tables is better when learning because you can pay full attention to your own hands and watch hands you're not in too, but for teaching it's important that enough hands are played to make good use of the time. For profit it depends on how good your A game is and how many tables it takes to seriously deteriorate it.

Hi niekos!

I agree with howard. At the beginning you should play less tables because you have to learn the basics first. If you have learned the basics and they have become automatic you can increase the number of tables.

Good luck at the tables!

Thanx, I keep this all in mind.
