I don`t understand ur trouble , u raise flop with the intention of getting it in right ? or why to u raise ? do u realy espect him to call down with 1 pair ? or play his sets pasive on the flop or other smaller flushes like 89s,68s,etc ? and why is check/call soo awfull against his range u don`t bluf out allot of Ax hands ... u might induce a second barrel when he has air since he is deep and competent maybe he whould even 3 barrel u on this board . If u do raise with the 3th nuts do u really espect to get only called with worse and be raised only by better? it`s really allot closer then u whould espect the check/raise vs check/call since his range is soo wide on the button and u do give up allot of value i think when he seccond barrels the turn . As played i don`t think u can really laydonw a flush on the flop , even if he is a competent oponent it`s likely he will make some mistakes against u and stack off with worse hands on the flop buton vs bb . or maybe his 3 bet is a bluf since ur value raising range on this flop is very very small , just remember that even competent players do make mistakes

Fold preflop, and it's not even close.

Against a competent player it will be absolutely impossible to play T7s +EV OOP.
And the fact that you're >250BB deep with him makes your positional disadvantage even worse.

On the flop I guess you see the problem: You flop the very best hand you can hope for (except for a full house TT7 or quads maybe) since even the A and K are removed from the deck, and you are still lost once the pot gets big.

As played I would probably c/c the flop since you can't expect to get much value by check/raising (unless you have some specific history).
It's sad, but you basically have a strong bluffcatcher - not because the opponents range is so strong but because it's so weak and he's just folding the vast majority of the time to your check/raise.
Even if he calls Ax sometimes he would most likely bet 2 streets himself anyway but I expect him to usually fold on the turn if you bet again.

I fold pre but I don't think I'm laying down a flush here, even though it sucks to be so deep. Maybe that's the reason why the check call line is better, too.
