blinds 1000/2000 ante 200, about 2 minutes before blinds raise to 2000/4000 400 ante (yes, a mega super turbo tourney..).

14 players left, 7 itm, good prizes from 4th place.

stacks:

MP 20000ish
CO At least 60k
Hero BU 14000 w/ 4d6d

Info and reads:

I started out the session at the table pretty short and i played pretty aggro. to me it seemed rational but to others it might've come off as too loose since it's an amateur tourney (in retrospect).

MP nitty old guy in mp calls 2000
CO calls 2000

I shove, MP folds, CO calls.

Old guy seemed nitty, and with his stack i think he would've pushed or made it 5000 with his strong holdings for value. CO seemed a bit passive, but aggro enough to isolate old guy with his premium hands.
So he seems to have a medium strength/speculative hand. In a previous hand he limp/folded to a shove and a call with 66, claiming he calls the shove if no caller did before him. The only hand that really scares me here is 66 ( im pretty sure he raises 77 here). He called with AJo.
Is this a good squeeze spot (double up or gtfo) or should i wait for a better spot? there was so much dead money and with the next level coming soon i felt i had to chip up. i calculated the following probability for a profitable push knowing that villain had 2 (unsuited) overcards:

8400p + 0.4(1-p)36400 > 0.6(1-p)14000

But the numbers dont really make sense ( i get p > negative number).

Any thoughts? :)

real problem with squeeze is the chips stack , cost 12K to win 19.4 and with any live cards he is getting odds to call

when I play and need to take flip wll try to use small stake to take it & what he is doing here & hoping you not got a dominating hand , at least you got live cards & still 35% to double-up if he dont fold

the squezz is good if u think they will fold much
but most times they will call the missing 12k ... becuase its "not much"

to ur calc

EV(Fold)=14000

EV(Push)= Fold-Equity * 22400 + ((1 - Fold-Equity) * Equity * 36400)

if EV(Push) > EV(FOld) then u can push it
