Maybe his stack is big enough for me to just cbet here, but i was worried that he'd push against any flop. Is this a legitimate worry? Should i be changing my play against a guy with this sized stack? What is the cutoff if there is a different plan against shortstacks?
I thought after the hand that rather than pushing into a shorty on boards like these, I should let them bluff their stacks into me instead (as by pushing myself i fold out all his bluffs). Would check-calling be a better line? Or bet-calling? Or even check-folding or bet-folding? It's quite possible that i'm trying to apply tournament concepts to ring games. Help someone?!
