Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5♦, Q♥
CO calls, 2 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (2.50 SB) Q♦, A♦, Q♣ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) K♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (9.25 BB) A♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB

Is this a good spot for a turn check-raise. He might fold to a flop 3-bet or turn continuation bet.

He didn't raised preflop so an ace is unlikely and he might raise the flop for a freecrad on the turn. Better 3-bet the flop directly because if you check/raise the turn he might fold even an ace but if you 3-bet the flop he will call it down. (Even if an ace in unlikely.)
If he raises you on the turn again then he has you often beat and you can save 0,5BB. :)
