do I push here or just fold and hope the other shortstack busts?

I think you need about 75% equity here to call. BU would have to be pushing 50% for this to be true so you have to fold.

if BU is competent he should be pushing pretty tight here and if he's pushing as loose as 50% someone is bound to bust soon because he'll probably call loose too.

When he is a thinking player, he has a range with which he is willing to call you and in case of a BB-push, he can fold all his "weak" hands from his range.

And readless i don´t think his range is far enough so that our push would be profitable without foldequity.
