As I see it, the only real way to profit from SNGs is by making it high up to the leaderboards. I have tried many times, and almost made it once, falling off by only a few places, after losing the second half of my block to hands full of bullshit.

Has anybody been able to make it constantly to the top, and if so, then how do you do it?

Are you focusing on the mercury ($1.20) SNGs? Play the 27 player SNGs, watch the SNG videos in the video section and practice ICM.

Any reason you say the 27 mans? do youearn more points or something from them ?

Yes, I was thinking mainly about the Mercury level.

Indeed, you get more points in finishing in the top of a 27- man tournament, than a 18- or 9- man one.

Not true. Focus on improving your game, reading articles, watching videos, posting hands and attending coachings.

Yes, rake is horrible on this limit. However the games are definately beatable. The BOP prizes are a nice bonus if you happen to be a luckbox that week, but you shoudn't set out to try and place well in it. When your SNG game is really good, results will come by themselves.
