Just make cold-call and if you hit flop then bet strong. This is good rule in general, there are also other possibilities but this is the safiest way in early phase.

yeah i just flat here pre. you can 3bet and go broke in these games as well. its more of a personal preference to not go crazy with AK early. but you can still get value from a lot of trash in the micros.

so either flatting or 3bet/calling are both fine.

just dont ever 3bet/fold

fwiw most of the time 3betting is very bad here. However because villain is very short it's not a bad play at all. I still prefer calling preflop.
