You should be extremely cautious with TPNK in this case. SHC tells you not to play these hands aggressively like pocket Tens in this hand example because you easily get outkicked by a better kicker if he has Toppair

If you decide to lead out, lead out potsized on the Flop and the Turnbet is in my opinion only backfiring because only nutted hands will call you + some guys who cannot fold draws

a Flush or straightdraw has 23% equity against you on the turn to the River so 1 out of 4 times you lose the hand unfortunately

SHC = Starting Hands Chart (provided in the strategy guides)

TPNK = Top pair, no kicker (as opposed to TPTK-Top pair top kicker)

Sometimes also see TPGK (Good kicker) or TPMK (Middle or Medium kicker)

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/glossary/ provides most of the commonly used phrases, but obviously some people do adapt their own.

Never be afraid of asking though, it's a great way to learn
