Hi folks,

Has any of you BBS players studied SSS?
I was wondering if it is worth learning SSS in order to react and know how a SSS player at our table will play.

The basic stuff that comes to me is what is the push range of a SSS player in BB to a SB steal for instance.

Thanks

It is more or less the same, except (assuming they are playing properly) they wont just be calling with low pairs hoping to flop a set, and they decide on the flop whether they want to go all in or not. They prefer not to give up their hand, so if they raise and you flop something, check it to them and let them be aggressive.

I used to play the basic SSS, basically if they push preflop they've got JJ+ or AK, maybe TT or 99 if they're restealing from BB. Postflop they will usually push with TPGK or better. That's what i've found anyway.

If they raise you and you have AK or QQ+ just shove on 'em.

Most of SSSer Hand Range:

T:Tight L:Loose

Preflop:
EP: T: JJ+, AK L: AQ+ AJs+ 99+
MP: T: 88+, AQ+ L: AJ+ ATs+ 66+
LP: T: 77+, AJ+ KQ L: TX+ A9+ 22+ A2s+
PUSH : T: JJ+, AK L: AK+ 99+
RST: T: 77+, AJ+ KQ L: JX+ AT+ 55+ A2s+

Postflop:
