Maybe it is just me, but I am I the only thinking that a Bodyboarding contest at a place called "SHARK ISLAND" might be not a good idea?
Since the finalists are all australians, I think Shark Island is the perfect location.

There is pretty much a beach every 10kms. You won't have a hard time to learn how to surf. Plus it's coming up to summer. There will be surf schools that a ballin' person like you could pay for. P.S. they are pretty cheap hehe
