Can I play that game with 44 from UTG???

The real problem with playing 44 in this spot is what happens if you get a caller or two then the shorty shoves (which he should do for value with a couple of callers).
Do you just call the shove or do you play it strong and raise again?
Problems either way because if you get called again you are in trouble and if you dont, you show everyone that you are raising light and they wont respect any future raises.
The other problem is exactly what happened, 2 callers so what do you do on the flop?
Unless you flop another 4 you are most likely behind and betting out gives you the same issues as above.
I think from CO or HJ a raise is fine but I would probably fold from UTG

i agree with rhino. with this stacksize i'd only open 44 from utg on a tight table or at least on a reasonable table having a tight image. since this is a freeroll your opponents are way too loose and small pocket pairs have very little equity in multiway pots if they don't hit a set.

so folding pre would be better here.

as played you have to consider that SB will probably never fold. Even if he calls loose preflop you're at best flipping against his range plus i don't think the BB will ever fold a better hand than yours so i don't see any value in bluffing here. well, at least you get him to fold outs - but still i think i'm just checking down
