My tourney part 1

Hi Guys

I finally decided to analyze my play a bit more to try and plug leaks. Here is a tourney from today. I didn't do very well. ended as 130 out of 700 something. Its $2 by-in standard NLH tourney.

I think i played some hand well, and others very bad. I have converted the 21 hands i played, and added my own comments.

I highly appreciate any comment on my play, and on my comments.

I will post 3 hands at a time as of the forum rules.

A bit loose maybe, but straight forward raise and continuation bluff. (3rd hand dealt)

I think i played this one straight forward. Maybe a smaller river bet, but a check was out of the question. Was quite a passive player.

hi!

hand1: isolating there is quite thin but not neccessarily bad. but if i isolate, i make it at least 200 because i'd like to get heads up and i think a 4bb-raise after 2 limpers will cause both players to call too often. cbetting this board against two players can be profitable, but imo only if you're planning on secondbarreling lots of turncards since small pocket pairs probably won't fold to a single bet on this flop. but if you cbet, you have to bet smaller. by potting you give yourself way too bad odds for the bluff. On this board, a cbet of
around 1/2pot should be easily sufficient.

hand2: seems ok to me (besides again the pot bet, which i'd make around 345). with this stack to pot ratio left i don't like folding an
overpair in a $2 Tourney since most people never fold a top pair. i'd shove on the flop though and not leave 1000 behind - that does not make sense.

hand3: you have to raise much more preflop. you don't want to play your AA in a multiway pot and besides, you want to extract more value preflop than that. After all these limpers, something like 350 would look fine to me. Maybe even 400.
Then on the flop, i don't like the slowplay at all. sure, it's hard for our
opponents to have a hand here, but you can't really expect anyone to bluff on this board against 3 oppenents either. And hands like a T or flushdraws will be way more likely to call bets than to bet theirselves. So i'd just play bet - bet - bet here to set up getting all-in on the river.

On hand 3 i checked the flop in hope of a raise, one of the players had been quiet agressive and seemed to bluff alot.

Buy yeah, i should have figured he wouldnt bite as of the multiway pot. And my check probably looked suspicious.
