you are often dominated but the fact that the board is paired and could give you splitpot-outs and the fact that a 7 and a 8 brings you a gutshot makes the fold to a call. you should actually call at least once with 2 overcards, especially with bd outs and outs to a splitpot. call once and fold the turn ui but it's not a big mistake to fold immidiately on the flop in that situation, having an often dominated a high holding. but with a bd-flushdraw it's always a call.
