Have a question about the pokerstars account.
I have an account at them , for like 2 years. just play money account , no money deposited.
i recived a bonus from then for 5$ ( no idea where that came from )
but still , i want to deposit money now and also get tracked by PS.com
Is this possible ? will they let me make a new account and close the old one ? or can i just e-mail them?

I was in the exact same situation as you are. I thought that my account hadn't been tracked to any affiliate and had no idea why I was given $5. However, just because I had probably clicked a Stars banner on some website, I was linked to an affiliate. When I asked them if they would re-track my account to PokerStrategy they said no, and they also made it clear that they would not allow me to close my account and open a new one.
But I guess you've got nothing to lose by contacting their support staff.
Everybody get 2$ at start to try out real money games

Unfortunately even if your Stars account wasn't tracked to an affiliate of some sort you still would not be able to be re-tracked to PokerStrategy.com.
I'm in the same boat as you but I'm playing every day on PokerStars. It's a shame they don't re-track but PokerStrategy.com is always trying to find a way for a site to re-track with us.

bah , np. wanted to play pokerstars or FTP ; unfortunately i got accs on both and i understrand FTP is the same way. so i'm gonna continue with partypoker atm , and see what happens.
