After the positive start yesterday I had hoped to keep the honeymoon period going for as long as possible, alas that was not to be. However all is not gloomy, with 750 hands played tonight I was at almost -18 dollars and managed to grind myself back to a minimum loss. Plenty of positives in that.

Another day, another rollercoaster ride, another love/hate relationship with AK

Pretty good day overall, my EV adjusted for the day is almost 15 dollars, so that's another real positive. Playing some decent aggressive poker, but need to work on adjusting my play towards specific opponents more.

I'll look over my session tomorrow and post some hands then, but for now here's an example that shows that once in a while the breaks go my way

Hey man, good to see another micro grinder ♠_cool: I've managed to get up to NL10 so take a swing round my blog if you feel like it.

One suggestion on the hands you've played: You're overplaying AK waaaaay too much, it's really not as premium as you think. When you get it all in preflop the best you can be hoping to face is usually QQ+ or AK, but the majority of the time it is AA or KK, so it's a major -EV move. If you're facing a raise, obviously you 3bet them, but if a 4bet comes in from them i'm folding AKo and maybe flat calling AKs in position. If you're the original raiser and someone 3bets you i'm usually flat calling them.
