Hello. So I've started playing again after a two month break, and oh boy does it feel good ♦ Now I'm playing turbos instead of regular ones, and I'm really worried about my ICM knowledge. I don't feel confident, at times I feel like I'm pushing too tight or too loose. So here's a few hands where I didn't know what to do:

Preflop: Hero is CO with A♥, 5♦.
2 folds, Hero raises to t1940 (All-In), 2 folds, BB calls t1665 (All-In).

Flop: (t3965) J♠, 8♥, 5♥ (2 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: (t3965) Q♦ (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: (t3965) T♥ (2 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: t3965

Is this standard, or too loose? Both BTN and BB seemed tight, so I don't know..

I'd definitely shove this with your reads. We have <10bb.

Weak aces actually do worst against tight players calling ranges here.. But I still think we can do a profitable push.. It's at least kinda borderline..

I would prefer some nice suited connector here tho..

I would usually fold this. A5s is a push tho.

When you say BU/BB are tight, does that imply SB can call wide? I think he is probably our biggest concern, the other two sort of have to be quite tight because of the stack dynamics.

SB was marked as a fish, so he's probably calling looser, or is it the other way around? I mean he's the chip leader, why would he risk most of his stack with a marginal hand, but then again, his understanding of a marginal hand maybe wider. Never actually thought about SB in this spot ♦

one of the biggest mistakes players make when learning push ranges is over-valuing weak off-suited aces. You have to be really careful when pushing these hands because you are always toasted when called.

As a default you can push Ax from the BTN for 10bbs or less. and your CO range should tighten quite a bit.

I think about A7o is about the worse off-suited ace ill push here for 9BBs against unknowns. But you can certainly push more with reads on tight blinds.

If you are unsure (and it seems like you dont really know what your opponents are like), you should stick to a standard range, and this is a little loose for my liking.

A5s looks good though
