if he calls loose you can consider folding since you still have a healthy stack, but I would mostly push there

you dont have to push.

against tight players a small raise is excellent, especially if you think they wont get out of line and re-shove you without a strong hand.

shoving is ok if you think you will get re-shoved light, but you think he will call a shove tight.

I dont really like a small raise with 12bb from SB....
with 15bb I would do it but this is to little to raise I think...

if we bet and he shoves we lose like 2.5bb then we dont get a pushing hand in the next few hands and we are down to 8bb....

I think its also important when the blinds are increasing...if they are soon and the next round we will have to pay higher blinds I think its a clear push...

I don't like the raise too, if he is loose this would be a fold, otherwise I push it.

But if we ignore the player-aspect here (and say it's a reg), can we say for sure that J6s is a pushable hand with around 12 BBs ?

I've started playing SNGs fairly recently and have a hard time evaluating the strength of different hands I have, hence my question.

These are the nash numbers for J6s 18.6

Which means we can push J6s BvB assuming no bubble factors for 18.6BB.

in this case, we have to reduce it from 18.6, but i think J6s is still a good push.

We're short and this is the best spot for us to pick up chips, i'm looking to shove as wide as it is profitable and not to give up any +EV spots.

from Wiz, assuming he's calling with a 15% range, which i think is pretty reasonable at these limits, then this is close to a ATC spot.

I also think <3 analysis about the small raise is really interesting, but i personally never do that. My flop game is so terrible that i think i make way to many mistakes to risk getting called and having to play a flop.

elhh man - I'm the same, I suck on the flop most of the times. I was still hoping a small raise will kick him out even though he wasn't as tight as I was hoping - bad judgment.

I gotta get acquainted with those Nash and Wizz stuff, hopefully get a better idea of where each hand actually stands.

not sure if you have access, but you can check pzhon's video - the golden rule. It talks about pushing BvB using the nash equilibrium chart.

just remember guys, just because sng wiz says you can shove. doesnt mean a shove is always the most +EV play against everyone
