Finally! After coming close on a few occasions I managed to pull enough points to cross a line that is significant in many ways for me. I play MTT SnGs on stars, the 12$ and 27$ levels. I mass table these games and one might think it'd be easy to reach diamond considering I've been playing 20games at once, but it really isn't! Each game lasts 40min on average, u rarely bust early and when u make it really deep, the 45man games last up to 1,5hrs, while I've played a 180man game for over 2hrs on winning occasions.
This is proof for me that I can put in even more volume and after a year playing these games, reaching a standard roi of 8% for the 45mans (19k games) and over 40% in the 180mans (2.5k games) I also see room for even more improvement. The downswings are brutal, the upswings are brief, there are loads of different situations to consider while playing, quite a few regulars (most of which have a unique playing style) and when u multiply these facts and add a few other issues, u can see that I should feel happy and proud of the achievement. Now if I could only climb out of this sideways rout I've found myself in recently.....
Oh, one last thing, does PokerStrategy still send it's new diamond members a T-shirt? I seem to remember something about that from a while back ...
