I think you could have played this hand better by flatting preflop and hoping the shortstack reopens the betting with a shove, then if everyone calls his bet, you can reraise since nobody has AAxx and you can put a lot of pressure on kings to fold.
As for the flop, I'm probably not folding, we have 2 pair, a gutshot straight and a backdoor flush draw. We can be against AQ a lot but we have outs at least, sometimes the guy is shoving QQQ, sometimes KKxx with nut flush draw. Overall I think we have enough equity vs range because of the money already in the pot it's a call, but we're usually never that happy about making the call.
