How should I've played this hand? I'm up against a taggish opponent..
Any feedback is highly appreciated..
I'd 4b it on this limit. Way more often they'll turn over AK, AQ, KQ, 99-JJ than KK or AA.
I don't believe taggish player has such a 3-betting range. I would put him more on JJ+, AQs, AK maybe even tighter because U raise from UTG, and even against that range it's a fold.

This. He 4x raised it. Can't call for set value given the stacks and it's a pain to play correctly out of position even if villain has AK there. Most likely you'll end up check/guessing on multiple streets against a reg you don't know, which is never a good idea since while the idea that he might be bluffing will linger in your mind, most of them simply won't be bluffing often enough to warrant you even thinking about it in those spots.
QQ is pretty and very strong cold. But once people start reraising your early position opens it quickly becomes a bluff-catching/setmining hand at stakes where people simply aren't reraising often enough with worse hands. Don't be afraid to make seemingly weak absolute folds when you believe that your hand isn't doing good relative to villain's range.
