PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 11 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP (t2625)
Hero (CO) (t1190)
Button (t2520)
SB (t1950)
BB (t1060)
UTG (t4155)

Hero's M: 15.87

Preflop: Hero is CO with 10, 10
1 fold, MP bets t150, Hero calls t150, 1 fold, SB raises to t1950 (All-In), 3 folds

Total pot: t500

Okey so here's the deal: I didn't wanna push pre because it seemed kinda inappropriate considering position, the relatively low amount of dead money, and the fact the PFR was kinda loose. I wanted to play for set/overpair here. I was definitely reluctant to call the push due to being sorta risk averse.

You can't ever call here, it's a big portion of your stack. I simply fold.

ya, that makes sense,

I guess that in summary we can say that in mid stages (15-20 BB) we should avoid calling unless maybe hand is decent, position is late, and odds are good, none of which I had in my case.

Am I thinking right ?

Hi all,

Resteal with 99+, AQ+ here IMO (push preflop that is). If he minraises I think calling preflop is OK. If he's quite tight I think TT+, AK, AQs+ as a resteal range is profitable. Basically vs a 3x openraise, I always push TT here.

What if we had 1500 chips?

Depends on players behind. I peel in position mostly with TT with 1500 chips. OOP I probably vary between getting it in and folding preflop. We're not setmining if we do call though.
