PT crashed and is now saying i have to create a new database, saying it's got an error connecting to the old one.
I don't know what to do to get it up and running again, any help?

PT3 crashing won't destroy a database. The database is still secure in postgres.
If you are still having that problem after you reboot then you definitely need to contact their support.
