villain: 28/22 agg. 8.0 over 60 hands - no reads yet

On the turn his value-range he reps is so small. AT, A5s, A4s, 44 and 55, one combination of TT left. I do expect some regs to bluff that turncard too since it is such a nice 2nd barrel bluffcard for PFA. So I do put some AIR in his range (Even tho I dont have any reads, putting that option into my thoughts should be OK for a guy who seems to be a reg). The river blanks and he ships it. My hand should look really strong to him and yet he still ships AI here. I would not expect many people to do that with AIR with the given SPR. He shouldnt give himself to much FE here. Would he value-ship A5 and A4s here?

Would appreciate thoughts.

Hi,

you forgot to put 32s into his range. :-)
On river, he can play AJ like that with which he raised turn.

River is very close, because he polarized his range so much.
Of course he would ship A4, A5 hoping to get a call from your perceived AK, AQ. But to me it looks like 44 or 55.

It's deffo possible to fold and I wouldn't mind one, but against this particular villain you can bluffcatch call, too.
Reason: He looks very aggressive, capable of those kind of big bluffs AND you beat A4, A5 out of his shipping range (and split with AT).

What did he have, if seen?

I also check/call the river.

If he has 55 or 44 imo he either raises the flop to let it look like a bluff or he calls the turn in the hope that you blufbarrel into him.
Sometimes he might still call flop and raise this turn if he thinks you get the money in with Ax, but the sets are still a very small part of his range.

He might think you have a lot of Ax in your range, especially all Axs - so you can definitely bet/call the turn and c/f the river with a lot of hands.
And as you said he could still do this for value with A5s and A4s.

So imo there are plenty of reasons to not fold the river.
