with the dollar on a giant down slide, how can we as poker players mitigate the currency risk exposure we face?? any long term advice/comments?
easy answer... deposit money now onto sites, wait for us dollar to go up again, and withdraw

I think you mean the strength of the Aussie dollar! :))))))))
Only thing good about it is if we are depositing right now. Withdrawing sucks
PS offers multicurrency options...
I bet they know what they are doing, but would be awesome if switching frim € to $ and back a couple of times within some time could get you money...
unless you guys mean play higher stakes so we lose more of our roll, and therefore less US$, making more profits means more US$ = more loss!
jokes aside, i'm just surprised no one mentioned about this earlier.
one solution is to play on sites that offer alternative currencies. however if US$ were to recover, we would have lost out on free returns. but if the decline furthers, than having our income in other currencies means we have taken the better alternative. so what is your forecast for the us$??? any forex guru please advice
buy some FX futures/options and zero your exposure. easy! (this is called a hedge btw)
Don't cash out until the exchange rate is more favorable?
This shouldn't affect your daily playing unless you deposit/transfer/withdraw regularly.
