even with no antes this is still instant shove preflop but A8s may still call at this level anyway

as played the flop is quite good for your hand but there is no way bb folding this

I knew this would be lost in translation... the chip-leader at this stage had less than 40 bb, 2 players to go before final table, I've played with Villain for over an hour, etc, etc...

shove preflop is standard whne pot is 1/3 of ur stack
raise/call is ok to induce a shove but if u were shoving before this hand u should shove this 1 too
and when u raise and villains call u should shove on any flop thats also know as GO&GO play

no, never ever check folding ur hand on that flop,
do u want to say that u r proud that u fold best hand on flop?

BTW how do u raise to 6k when BB is 4k, or there is something wrong with stack sizes and blind level???

Blinds should read $1000/$2000.

It's the first Hand Evaluation I post, didn't know I'm not supposed to post results. Pacific/888 Poker don't have text hand history that's convertible so I had to write it out.

20 BB or less I'm always committing with this hand, mostly shoving PF. When BB calls my raise based on history I have to put him on a real hand (better range than standard BB defend). I had a real read on his actions especially flop and turn play. I'm not checking to fold, but when he bets $7000 into $12,000 considering stack-sizes my feeling is he has a hand he's willing to get it all in with; I have 20+BB left and decide to fold and find a better spot, where I'm not guessing or at best flipping. I'm not putting him on a flush-draw obviously.

If he doesn't show I move on and never think about this hand again. When he shows the A8s I'm obviously a bit surprised, but I don't hate my fold. Analyzing hands and situations isn't black/white... a couple hands later I double up and bust a player and I'm playing for a $200 prize-pool at the final table instead of flipping for $2 profit after 4 hrs of play.

I think coinflips are part of the game and with so much dead money there I would take it.
The problem on the flop is that you don't know where you stand and that is the reason why I think best play here is to push pre.

JJ have high equity but bad playabilty
so I prefer to ship it pre
