[Closed] Nl200 SH: bottom bout finds not fun river

I usually raise 26$ already on flop. Your line c/c flop and c/r turn looks OK, if you are convinced he bets on turn.

When he calls turn, I comfortably shove 130$ on river. He does not have a five almost never, he is on overpair most of the time. I just ship it myself on river - it looks like a bluff (busted draw) and he calls his overpair frequently. If he has a 5, you call it down anyway, so rather bet yourself.

46% steal looks like villain has 75, 65, 54, A5, 53s in his range.
Maybe Cornie4ever is right and villain has a overpair.
But would you call an overpair if you were in villain's shoes?
Because your line screams of at least 5x.
So either he thinks you bluff or he wants to trap you with 5x because he thinks, that you have 99 f.e.

Shoving is not the badest idea if villain can't let his overpairs go.

But what is his river aggression, if you check to him?
Does he turn his AA into a bluff by shoving himself?

If he is the type of villain, which folds if you shove, but checks all overpairs behind, then you can consider blockbet/f.

I usually fold or 3bet preflop. It's hard to play this profitably OOP vs an aggressive reg.

As played I'd also c/r the flop 100% of the time. Your hand is greatly decepted, he will call (or even 3bet) all his overpairs because you don't have a single 5 in your range so you miss out on a ton of value by just check/calling.
Also your checkraisingrange is a lot more balanced since you would c/r draws and bluffs here but you'd never c/c those.

As played the c/r on the turn is fine I think. We still want our value, the sooner we get money into the pot, the better (before some draws come in and scare him).

On the river it's close, a 46% range includes: 65s, 75s, 85s, J5s, Q5s, K5s, A5s which have 2 combinations each so 14 combinations overall.
There's also A5o which has 7 combinations left, so overall we're facing roughly 21 combinations of 5x and 1 of 55, but there's also 33 in his range (1 combination) - 23 overall.

When we look at his overpairs it's hard to say which ones he calls on the turn, probably at least TT+ which make up for a total of 30 combinations.
So imo the rivershove is fine.
His range might be wider than we expect so it's more +EV to shove, and even if it is a bit tighter we're still in the slight +EV or breakeven zone.

Also we have to consider that if we check, he shoves AA and we somehow level ourselves into a fold this will be an absolute worst-case-scenario which we want to avoid.
We can easily do that and put him in the tough spot by shoving ourselves.
