Calling a draw

Hi !

Need some adivice and some different ways how to play this situation.

Also my thoughts on that hand

I bet on CO, button calls.
On Flop I missed cbet, luckily opponent makes small bet, so i call.
Turn T gives me nut flush draw so I decided to check, betting doesnt make any sense.
Because his small bet on flop, I hoped he continues small bet on turn so i can get cheaply to river.
He made big bet. And now Im not sure what is the right decision.

If i call and hit any ace or king or heart, then im all in on river.
If i call and miss, then i can still play only with 9bb. but still in.

On turn if he does not have a set or A9/A10/AA/KK you have 9 outs for the flush + 6 outs for the A and K so a total of 15 outs which is about 30% chance.

the pot odds give you 1: 2.43 So directly it is not worth if. If we add on his stack as potential winning as he probably will go all in on river, your odds is 1:3.5 , which makes is about break-even chip-wise.

But as there is a decent chance some of your odds is dead, i guess it makes it a fold. Also with a stack of still 15.5 bbs, you are still in a decent spot, so I don't think its worth the gamble.

Bear in mind i'm not an expert and my caculations may be off somewhere

Ty, for your reply. I think your are right in this situation. Now if i think then i probably put him only on set so i got only 9 outs. I have to work on that math to improve my game.

Hm. Where did you get 2,43 .... I get pot odds 4354/1668=2,61 and if i got 15outs then turn to river drawing odds is 2.07 ... then it is call ? Am I missing something?

IMHO

You can't put villain on a set or actually any hand because you have been to passive....

You bet first pre-flop, by checking the flop you are signalling weakness - his min-bet was probably to test that you weren't trying a fancy check/raise play - once you checked again he was definitely going to put you on nothing much and try and bet you off the hand!

Which he did - well played villain!
