I ended up losing 2BI's really sucky day today Really have to review my game again to start winning on NL10!

With the hand you posted i would be tempted to raise it all in on the turn, he may feel pot commited already, may be calling with AJ,AQ,AK, as the board on the turn does get a little drawy, but still feel you got unlucky in the hand as played.

Hey guys

I survived NL10 today!! What a session it was. At one stage I was really happy and then it (my graph) went down really fast NL10 was more different then I thought. I can't really get a grip on the game. And my graph shows that!! Today I'm going to put it in a spoiler because what the hell is that? I play too many big pots for sure!

Tomorrow will be the last day that I'll play and then I won't be playing for about 2 weeks. On friday I leave to Italy (val di sole) to snowboard on the last snow of this season. And the week after that I'll be with my GF. I won't be playing, but I will be on the forum.

Music for today Well sometimes I have to post something else then just reggae. Today is the pride of Belgium, known all over the world and the best Drum n Bass DJ in the world apparently.

Hi guys

Last post for a couple of weeks now. I don't really feel like posting my graph today. I wasn't playing really bad, I was up 0,5BI the whole time. And Then I got KK, got it in pre vs a fish, he shows AK and flops the A of course. So yeah after that hand I stopped playing. I wasn't tilting but I just lost motivation. Really hard to play your A-game and then loose it all like that.

Tomorrow evening I'll be off to Italy. I leave at 7pm and probably arrive at like 8am or so in Italy. When I'm back I'll try to find some cool pics and post them here.

Video for today: Since I'm going on a snowboard holiday I thought it was a good idea to post one of the coolest snowboard vids I know. So no music but a video for today.

Hello everyone!!

Played my first session(s) today since I'm back from my holiday. The first session didn't go to well. I called a loose passive players push on the river with trips when he rivered a straight... Then I stopped playing, I decided it was enough.

Then after dinner I played a second session which went really well at first but then :face palm: I started loosing more and more money. I ended the day with +$8 which isn't to bad, but it should've been more.

888 gave me $5 for a promotion (forgot the name, something with box...) so in the end I made about $13 today. That means I still don't have to move down! ♠_biggrin:

When I opened 888 I noticed that it was still counting points for my FDB. I thought it had expired during my holiday but it didn't! I still have 4 days (well 3 after today) to get enough points to get my last $10 FDB But I have to get some volume to generate enough. So the following 4 days I'll be grinding to get everything out of my FDB!

I'll tell you guys more about my holiday when I have the pictures. It's nice to tell you and show you pictures at the same time.

First of all thanks EmanuelC16! I've seen the hands you commented on and it was very interesting!

Today was a day of doing absolutely nothing but recover from my holiday. My knees hurt soo badly!! I can't sit for a very long time

I play poker on a macbook pro. To do this I installed Parallels and I'm running XP just to keep my mac cooler. I never thought of buying HEM2 because it's just expensive and I thought my mac would get to hot. But today I downloaded the trial version. Now that HEM2 is this cheap it is the best time to buy it. I've been playing around with it the whole day. I got my HEM1 database imported so I don't have to start all over again. And just played with all the functions. Until now I really like it tbh. I have to get used to it but I had to get used to HEM1 as well. There is only 1 thing that I don't really like and that is when you add you showdown winnings into the graph HEM2 flattens out the graph, looks a bit like PT then. Without the showdown winnings my graph may look very swingy but with the showdown winnings it's not that swingy anymore. I think a graph is something you look at quickly and you see obvious what happened. But now it isn't that obvious anymore, you almost have to study the graph. But apart from that I really like HEM2 and my mac stays cool. So I think I'm going to buy the small stakes version.

I also played some poker today. Today I had a proper winning session on NL10, my first! I just stayed focussed and calm and I'm really happy with how I played. I almost won 3BI's. And I broke the $300! Lets hope I can keep it that way!

I still need to get 27 points to get my last $10. It is possible but I'm going to my GF tomorrow and I usually never play when I'm there but this time I have to. I want my $10!

Poker Today
I wasn't able to play yesterday and I only had 1 day left to clear my FDB. So I started grinding...
But it didn't go very well. It went very bad actually
But I really wanted that $10! For now it's the only kind of rake back and in the end I might have lost the same money the next time I played. I lost about $30 but got $10 FDB.

HEM2
So I'm with my gf now and I won't be able to play until sunday. I will be online from time to time, but I won't be able to buy HEM2 etc...
So I bought HEM2 today I bought the smallstakes version, that should be enough. When I get to NL50+ I'll have enough money to buy the full version. I bought it with my own money for now, but I'm going to cash out on 888 and then put it back in my bank account, so I will pay for it with my poker winnings.

But then when I tried to enter the serial code into HEM2 it couldn't connect to the server. So HEM2 couldn't register me Then I tried everything that they say on the HEM2 website. Still didn't work....
Then I went into my HEM2 account and uploaded my key :facepalm:, tried it again and it worked! ♠_pleased: I DID IT!! :cool face:

Until sunday
So yeah I'm with my GF and I won't be able to play I'm going to be online on the website from time to time though. I tell her I'm a mod and I have to be online once a day at least

Yeah I just found that pic on google. I just wanted a pic that made the word grinding clear!

What happened until today
So after the grinding my FDB expired so I decided to cash out to buy HEM2. Well I bought it with my own money but I'm going to withdraw it back to my bank account so I payed HEM2 with my Poker money. After that I'm going to deposit again to get a reload bonus.
I cashed out $190 so I had around $94 left in my 888 account.

Today
So yeah I'm back from my GF so I could play a bit tonight. I played on NL6 again because of my 'low' BR right now and I just feel better on NL6 right now. Didn't play very much hands, but I did make a profit which is always nice!

BR: $98,06

But hands like these are killing me! It's probably a fold on the flop, but my curiosity got the better of me. And it was nice to see I was ahead.

I tend to fold nearly always vs a minraise. Just to often they flip over 22-33 but this time I decided my hand was good and I want him to pay his Qx hands or draws. And if he did have a 22-33 then I'm fucked

Today
Well today was in general pretty boring. Had nothing to do and couldn't play poker either because my brother was using my laptop.

Eventually he came home and I opened up a SnG after dinner. I don't play SnG's very often, but I find them a lot of fun to play! I basically folded my way ITM. I did busted the guy on the bubble ♠_biggrin: Then nothing happened in ages, we all 3 had about the same stack until the board was 7A7A7 and a fish (yes he was a fish) pushed and of course I called, he turned over a T. 3 hands later I get it in vs the same guy board ATTxT, he shows AT. So out in 3rd place but I was happy with that and it was fun!

After all of that I opened the usual 4 tables NL6 SH. I started of pretty nice, made profit right from the beginning and then it went up and up and up and up. I was on such a heater tonight it wasn't even funny anymore! Almost every PP made a set on the flop! At one stage I was up $54. In the end I made some huge mistakes and finished the day with +$38 which I'm still super happy with!

And here we are again after a day of poker!

Played an other SnG today was shorty the whole time but I was 2nd

I received money today from 888. Got €141 so yeah conversion rate isn't that good. And I deposited $150 again to get a reload bonus (best way to get rakeback...). So now I had $318 in my account and thats enough to play on NL10 again.
NL10 I got tilted at some stage, so I stopped playing and thought a bit about opening NL6 tables. Then I look a break, calmed down and eventually opened NL10 again in stead of NL6. I have to get used to it one day... Not really happy with how I played but just trying out the waters. And I finished with a profit which is always nice!
