I havent really played much cards since sunday, mostly because i was incredibly tired. 4 long mtt sessions and little sleep isn't a very good combination! I definitely have to play less mtt sessions and more sng sessions, both because mtt sessions are incredibly exhausting and also because I'm a fucking silver star.

However, I've been thinking a lot about trading lately (guess why), and I'm definitely gonna give it a shot and will study the materials in next days.

On more of a random thought - am I the only one who absolutely hates FTP's software right now? I mean it's ok if you want to play just one table, but when I play like 9 tables on stars and 2 on FTP, I really go on a massive tilt thanks to those two tables regardless of how well/bad i run.

Today, I've achieved something quite amazing. I've lost $55 in a $3 rush rebuy mtt, which is quite remarkable for me since I usually just rebuy once or twice. The players were just so bad that I thought the luck just has to turn around at some point. Oh well. ♦

This was amazing too. I dont think I've ever ripped it in with AQ in a real money tournament for 23bbs and got called in two spots with worse hands.

Ran pretty bad today, had some semicoolers and coolers and my session ended now, at 22.30 which is pretty lol. Had like two or three itm's, nothing to be proud of. Though I'm pretty happy with the way I played, didn't spew at all which has been my downfall last week.
I'm done with mtts for the week, saturday and sunday will be sng days. Probably wont play any mtts till next friday/saturday, because I really need to get some sleep.

And btw - if you think you're stupid, play the $1 3x-turbo rebuy on Stars. It's just mindblowing how can someone rebuy for 3k chips when the blinds are 1250/2500 with like 300 ante ♦
The tournament itself if probably the biggest donkament ever and I would never even bother playing it, but the top payouts are ridic. The $13k for first usually makes me wanna play. ♦

Rl wise, I'm not really happy with my work ethics, as I did literally fuck all in last 2 weeks as far as school stuff goes. I should do quite a bit, but I just cant get myself to do anything.
Though I have to say I'm loving my life atm, met a lot of great people in college, made some really great friends and overall I'm happy with myself both as a person and a poker player.

November review

November was the 3rd bestest month of my career $$-wise, even though probably my worst sample size wise.

I worked really hard on my game, practised a lot on sng wizard, watched plenty of videos here and on other sites too. I have to say watching SirWatts' vid (not here) probably helped me the most. I'd say the biggest mistake I've been making before watching it (and a ridiculous amount of regs in the low stakes mtts do this) is betsizing pre ante. You really should be playing the early stages like a normal cash game, not like a tournament. You want to extract the most value from the weaker players and you're just not gonna achieve it by betting 40% of the pot on all streets in a single raised pot.

Goals for next month:

[ ] Play 300 sngs
[ ] Some money
[ ] Reach $10k in earning on P5's
[ ] $1k score one time? ♦

What are the fucking odds of this??? 17 hands, 7 allins, I won all of them. Aka how to go from starting stack to chiplead in about 10 minutes. ♦

My fav tourney btw, this $5,1 hyper turbo. The structure is ridic fast, people play very tight, just a ton of fun.

Had a normal session, with one deep run, that unfortunately ended like this:

Was really shocked to see A4s, tbh I'd never reshove with that hand in a $3 mtt. Obv, if he knows my pushing range (atc) then he should reshove (since he has 59% vs atc). I'd still think it's a pretty loose reshove since you're risking way too much in a high variance spot in a really soft mtt, but it's def fine.
But an unknown in a $3 mtt is never openshoving atc in this stage (25 or so people left) for 12bbs. He was kind of lucky to run into me, but I'm pretty sure you'd be in a pretty bad shape vs. most players here. Then again, he binked it, so who really cares. ♦

Anyway, I'm definitely playing just sngs tommorow. I really have to. Can't be a stupid silver star ffs.

You playing exclusively at PokerStars for your MTTs and SNGs?

Yea, exactly. Played on FTP for couple of days but the software is just bad compared to PS. Plus, obv, traffic is much better on stars. Other sites don't come even close imo.

Had a really good session, played 29 sngs with a nice profit. Played $7 in the first session because of bad traffic and couple of regs in $15s, then moved to $15s in the evening.
I have to say I'm really happy with my game these days, working with sng wizard really helped me improve both my sng and mtt game (esp mtt since I had already a pretty good sng game).
