Black Member raffle is coming on August 25

We have details of how you can participate in the upcoming $100,000 raffle for Black Members.

We previously informed you that any pending Black Member tickets, tokens and suit entitlements as at August 20 will be converted into tickets for a $100,000 Black Member raffle. The raffle is coming soon, so today we have more details about how you can enter. 

Raffle tickets

Black Members will receive a number of raffle tickets based on these conversion criteria:

• 1 Black Member Ticket = 1 Black Member Raffle Ticket
• 1 Black Member Travel Expenses Token = 1 Black Member Raffle Ticket
• 1 Black Member suit entitlement = 1 Black Member Raffle Ticket

It is possible for a Black Member to have multiple Black Member Tickets/travel tokens and therefore multiple Black Member Raffle Tickets.

Prizes

There are 200 prizes to be raffled with the following structure: 

Black Members with multiple raffle tickets can win more than one prize. 

The prizes will be paid into each winner’s Tell-a-Friend account. 

How exactly does it work?

• The allocation of raffle tickets and participation in the raffle draw will happen automatically
• We will inform you about your raffle tickets via email later today so that you can check the number of your raffle tickets in advance
• Users have a right to opt-out of the raffle, in which case their Black Member entitlements will be forfeited without compensation
• If someone becomes a Black Member by August 19, they will still receive a Black Member ticket and Black Member suit entitlement
• On August 20 all pending Black Member benefits are turned into raffle tickets
• On August 25 the raffle draw will take place and winners will be announced in a news article on our website

FAQ

I am going to attend an event and get my suit tailored and I still have some pending tickets or tokens. What should I do? 

If you are properly registered for the remaining events and have an appointment with the tailor (i.e. this was previously confirmed via email), you do not need to worry about anything. You will attend the event(s) and get your Black Member suit as normal. If you still have more pending tickets or tokens, these will be automatically converted into raffle tickets. 

I previously informed PokerStrategy.com that I do not want to take part in the raffle. Does it mean I cannot win a prize in the Black Member raffle? 

No. You need to officially opt-out now to exclude yourself from the promotion by sending us an email to vip@pokerstrategy.com by August 19. Users who opt-out from the raffle are not eligible to win any prizes from the Black Member raffle and their tickets will be forfeited without any compensation.

I did not receive an email, but I should have a raffle ticket. Why is this?

We are only allowed to send e-mails to members who want to receive newsletters from us. So when you switch off newsletters from PokerStrategy.com we aren’t able to send you the information via e-mail. However you will still take part in the raffle.
