The concept of a call-down is well known to any FL player. A balance between way ahead / way behind, bluff induce and calling due to equity against the opposing range, its a common tool in the FL environment. The semi-bluff is one of the favourite weapons of an aggressive No Limit player. Combining existing equity with fold equity, it aims at getting opponents to fold better hands through aggression. The general higher level of aggression shown by players who frequently semi-bluff also results in a better payoff for their strong hands. A good knowledge of the concept is therefore highly advisable for any aspiring No Limit player;
