Corey Wade wins the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa
Another name etched on the Mike Sexton Cup and one of the most unique trophies you will ever see awarded at the World Poker Tour.
Another enormous live poker field in the World Poker Tour as 1,165 runners attended the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
Relative unknown Corey Wade emerged the champion after defeating Fred Paradis heads-up for the title after a two hour heads-up match.
He made a deal three handed with Paradis and Brock Wilson that saw all three men secure at least $411,678, but by winning the event took down the biggest prize of $471,686.
Wade also won one the most unique trophies you are ever likely to see, which was essentially an electric guitar. He also has his name etched on the Mike Sexton Champions Cup, which travels to every WPT live stop.
