The Mod Squad and Media Maniacs Duel it Out

Alland manages to secure 2 medals for the Mod Squad - yet despite solid performances from the rest of the team, the best average finish goes to the Media Maniacs.

As if to answer the domination of Team SoyCD in the previous two weeks - the Mod Squad fires back with an all around solid performance. A 100th place finish by Alland secured them the two gold medals for best member and most money - and an overall good team performance with an average finish of 1131 put them in a great position for a perfect sweep. Yet they weren't the only team that played a strong tournament.

Although only 2 players actually managed to reach the money this week (a record low), some teams managed to still deliver solid team performances. Alland (100), Frozenrope (1573), Chiller3K (1145) and Cannell555 (1707) certainly did so for the Mod Squad. Yet their 1131 average finish was not enough for a gold medal as Velak (1261), fostie (1425), Dpt2008 (1140) and Kimber88 (471) managed a 1074 average.

The three teams at the top are therefore still in as close contention as ever. The Mod Squad is ahead with 6 Gold Medals and 3 Silver medals, followed by Team SoyCD with 6 Gold and 2 Silver. The Media Maniacs are in reachable distance of first though, with 3 gold medals.

As announced in the restructuring news, there is now an additional
prize pool which will be distributed among the top players of the BOD.
As soon as the extra-pot reaches $490, we will give out 1 ticket to the Sunday Million and 5 buy-ins
to the Daily Eighty Grand ($50+5) among those players who are currently

This week not much was added to the pot due to the too few cashes - but unused stakes and the 2 placements did add another small sum putting us over $190.

All players that manage to cash in a ranked team automatically have the
