Join the Gold Spree at Cake Poker
Cake Poker has just launched a new promotion for its users - the Gold Spree. Simply sit down at the real money tables in February and you can win as much as 4 times as many Gold Chips and a seat in the Gold Spree $25,000 Kamikaze tournament.
Cake Poker invites you to their tables with a special promotion this February called the Gold Spree. This promotion will be split into two parts: the Play Spree and the Reward Spree.
- Play Spree: between February 1, 00:01 GMT and February 14, 23:59 GMT
- Reward Spree: between February 15, 00:01 GMT and February 28,
23:59 GMT
The idea behind the promotion is simple: you just need to sit down at the real money tables and you play. Depending on the amount of chips you earned at the end of the Play Spree, you will earn as much as four times the amount of Gold Chips in the Reward Spree.
Playing Spree for FPPs
You will be assigned an FPP target which you need to reach by the end of the Play Spree, the 14th of February. If you reach the FPP goal by the end of this period, you will be automatically qualified for the Gold Spree $25,000 Kamikaze*, where the first place prize is $5,000. The tournament will take place on the 17th of February at 20:00 ET (February 18, 01:00 AM GMT).
If you manage to go over your goal, then you will get higher rewards, which will apply in the Reward Spree. You can check your FPP target and the progress of your goal at any time by going to your Cake Poker account and clicking on My Account tab.
Reward Spree with Gold Chips
Depending on how you did in the Playing Spree phase, you will now be able to take advantage of the bonus you unlocked. If, for instance, you managed to double your FPP goal during the Play Spree, then you will unlock the 4x multiplier and you will earn four times as many Gold Chips for playing during the Reward Spree. If you earned 10 Gold Chips during the Reward spree, you will be given an additional 30 Gold Chips.

*A Kamikaze tournament is a No Limit Hold'em event that requires no action by participating players. All players are dealt hole cards as usual but are then all automatically set to go all-in. The board is dealt and the winner of the table goes on to the next stage. This continues until there is a single final winner.
