PokerStrategy International League Freeroll #8 and #9 Results

The results of the last two League Freerolls are finally in. Eudodo put up a very impressive performance with two final tables, and moves into the top 3.

Last Wednesday was one of the most important days for the International
League so far, as both the 8th and the 9th tournaments were played. The final tables were full of familar faces with redskwerl, travisready, kennyxx and Eaglestar once more making it to the top10.  The winner of the evening though was EuDodo who managed to make both final tables and thus move up to second place in the overall rankings.

The two tournaments managed to create quite a bit of movement among the top10, with the winner of the #8 tournament, ballboy1, moving up to 10th in the overall standings.  Aside from qualifying for the Lucky Loser Freeroll, he also has a chance to move into the top10 next week if he places well.  Also continuing his upwards trend is travisready who was in the top10 last week for the first time, and is now in 4th place.

The winner of the #9 Freeroll, Stone22, played his first league tournament, and won a place in the Lucky Loser Freeroll.

The standings are still close as ever with only 6 points separating 3rd and 6th place.  The last tournament will clearly be an all decisive fight for not only the top 3 prize money awards of $300/$200/$100 but also the 8 direct qualification spots.

In order to give those players who barely missed the final 8 places a
chance to play in the final as well, there will also be a lucky loser
freeroll in which 5 further places in the tournament will be given
away. The 10 highest ranked players from
each community that did not qualify for the final will qualify for this freeroll - as well as all
first place winners of the 10 qualification tournaments. Currently already qualified for the Lucky Loser Freeroll due to having finished first in one of our tournaments are:  Stone22, ballboy1, redskwerl, Chopsticks43, mortimeral, VTomukas, eudodo, ProkopMC, and markjam.

The top 5
players of the Lucky Loser Freeroll will also move on to the
final.
