Rakeback Changes at Cake Poker
Starting with the 1st of May, Cake Poker will be changing its rakeback policy. This means that the rakeback deduction is now gone and players will get the full 33% net rakeback.
Starting with the 1st of May, the rakeback deduction will be removed, meaning that players will benefit from the full 33% rakeback.
What is Gross Rake/Net Rake?
As you may already know, costs such as Gold Chips or Gold Cards are substracted from the gross rake (MGR). The resulting rake is the net rake (NGR), on which the rakeback is based.
However, in order to better serve players who are mainly interested in the rakeback itself, Cake Poker will be removing this deduction and provide full rakeback.
What is the advantage now?
Since the rakeback deduction is gone, players will enjoy the full benefits of it - 33% rakeback actually means 33% rakeback from now on.
However, in order to compensate for this rakeback deduction removal, rakeback players will now receive 50% less FPPs, which means they will clear bonuses more slowly and earn less gold chips.
