The ChampionChip returns to 888poker with $500K GTD
888poker is launching a one-week tourney series this Sunday, coming with a total of 24 events and a multi-day $200,000 Main Event with a buy-in of only $60.
Right on the heels of their last big series "The Festival", 888poker is launching yet another tournament series to fix your thirst for championship glory!
Starting this Sunday, August 28, the ChampionChip at the virtual felt will feature 24 action-packed events until September 6, with almost all of them fittingly themed after a sporting event.
A total of at least three tournaments will be running every day during the series, with buy-ins ranging from only $1 to $60 but guarantees going as high as $20,000 in the regular events as well as $200,000 in the Main Event.
What's more, there's a rich variety of formats scheduled, with Progressive Knockout events at 8-max and 6-max tables, Deepstack as well as Rebuys making sure there's something in store for everyone.

$200,000 Multi-Day Main Event
Naturally, the biggest tournament of the ChampionChip at 888poker will be the Main Event, coming with a guarantee of $200,000 and a buy-in of $60.
The Main Event is structured as a two-day tournament, with Day 1s being available from September 1-5, with Day 2 being played on September 5 right before the big finale is being decided on September 6.
Additionally, there's also a $5.50 Micro Main Event scheduled for September 4 with $15,000 in prizes guaranteed, and a $33 Opening Ceremony kicks off the serie this Sunday with $30,000 GTD.
Topping things off, players and fans will be able to watch the action on 888poker's Twitch channel too, while the 888 Stream Team is going to live-stream their play as well, with tickets to the $60 Main Event given away to viewers during the course of their broadcasts.
$500K added to the regular MTT schedule
Meanwhile, 888poker recently also celebrated their 20th anniversary, entirely revamping their regular tournament schedule with several new MTTs added to the line-up.
The result is an addition of $500,000 in regular guarantees every week, and dozens of new tournaments for players to dive into, many of those focused on the popular PKO format.
